Nora Krohn, Viola
Violist Nora Krohn, a native of Baltimore, Maryland, graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa in 2006 from Brown University, where she earned a BA in Music and Hispanic Studies. She received her MM in Viola Performance in 2008 from SUNY Purchase College, where she studied with Ira Weller. Summer studies include Eastern Music Festival, the Pierre Monteux School, the Meadowmount School, and the Manchester Music Festival. A busy freelancer in the New York area, Nora plays regularly with the Chelsea Symphony, Ridgefield Symphony, Chappaqua Orchestra, and Allentown Symphony.
