Ricki Steiner, Violin
BIOGRAPHY
Ricki Steiner has been studying violin for twelve years and has her BM in Music Education and Violin Performance from Long Island University- C.W. Post campus. She has studied under reknown violinist, Dr. Dale Stuckenbruck. Ms. Steiner has extensive knowledge of classical music, with a focus on the Renaissance and Baroque periods. She also spent four years studying viola da gamba and performing with LIU's early music ensemble and has toured Canada with the group, under the direction of professor and accomplished cellist, Maureen Hynes. Aside from classical and early music, Ms. Steiner is an avid Big Band and Swing Era enthusiast and is the owner of 411 Retro Boutique in Port Jefferson Village, NY. This is Ms. Steiner's first season with the Amadeus Opera and she is thrilled to have been given the opportunity to perform such great works.
